Parents

Your child does not have to have all the answers today

What matters is helping them find their own answer. This direction is for parents and caregivers who want to support a teenager through career choice. DU EL creates a safe and structured path where a young person discovers strengths, meets professionals, develops skills and tests different directions.

What we talk about with parents

  1. The parent's role during the choiceWhat a teenager actually needs from a parent at this stage: calm presence and support instead of ready-made answers.
  2. Listening without imposing the choice“What interests you?” opens more doors than a ready-made answer.
  3. Noticing interests and strengthsHow to see what genuinely draws your child and what they do well — through everyday conversations and try-outs.
  4. Discussing educational and career optionsInstead of one “right” profession — a field of directions where they can move and change their mind after testing.
  5. Supporting real experienceA tour, a meeting, workplace observation or an internship teach more than any description.

Parent sessions and seminars

Within the current project we run parent sessions and seminars — calm, hopeful and practical: how career orientation works and what role the family plays. Registered parents receive the schedule.

We will confirm your registration and send the date and details of the next session.
