Career Orientation
DU EL's career orientation process accompanies a young person from self-discovery to real professional experience. Our approach combines career orientation, work-based learning and dual-education principles: learning is connected to two environments — the educational setting and the real workplace.
Informed Career Choice
Stage 01
With a career guidance psychologist you map your interests, strengths and values.
This stage produces the participant's personal career portfolio — the foundation for everything that follows.

Stage 01

This stage produces the participant's personal career portfolio — the foundation for everything that follows.
Stage 02
You complete learning units, earn badges and unlock new opportunities — tours, meetings, workshops.
Each successfully completed learning unit earns a badge. Badges show progress in a gamified way and unlock the next opportunities: company tours, exploration of different sectors, meetings with professionals and exposure to corporate culture.
Stage 03
You test your direction in practice — interviews, mentoring, workplace observation and internships.
The stage results in a career direction tested through experience, professional feedback and a plan for the next steps in education, internship or employment.

Learning badges
A badge certifies a specific skill or completed learning outcome — never attendance alone. Gamification stays restrained: progress, achievement, discovery.

Current project
Practical career orientation and work-based learning for young people aged 14–24, with parent engagement. Young people and parents register separately.
Project target: 200 young people and 100 parents.

Clear terms
These are two different paths. Cohort programs are grant-funded and free for selected participants; individual consulting is a paid service outside an open cohort.
